This webinar will cover the parts of misinformation that tend not to be explored in media literacy interventions. Media literacy interventions on misinformation tend to focus on a relatively narrow band of topics from the rhetoric used in the campaign to surface level understanding of content manipulation. This session will go over techniques used by disinformation actors that have not been incorporated into media literacy interventions so far.

Ctrl+Alt+Disinfo is a multi-stage, international jam to create high-quality, engaging video games focused on teaching media literacy and critical thinking to increase skepticism around propaganda and disinformation.
The 27-country initiative is part of the two-year United with Ukraine games project, which seeks to train 2,500 game developers, launch 30 impactful games tackling the topic of disinformation from around the world and reach a public audience of over 70,000.
